98FM’s Best of Dublin Awards are back for their sixth year to celebrate all that is great about our capital city. From Best Barber to Best Butcher, the Awards are the ultimate celebration of the best our city has to offer and 98FM is calling on Dubliners to nominate their favourites in the hunt for the 2019 award winners.

Award nominations are open on 98FM.com from today until 21st April before nominees in each of the 16 award categories will be shortlisted and announced on Monday 22nd April. Shortlisted nominees will be sent a promotional pack to encourage customers, family and friends to vote for them, before the winners are announced at the ultimate celebration of our city, 98FM’s Best of Dublin Awards on 23rd May at the Guinness Storehouse.

In 2018, over 20,000 nominations were made and more than a quarter of a million votes were cast to crown the 16 deserving award winners. Winners last year included local heroes such as Dave Horan from Finglas Fire Station who won Dublin Hero, as well as CEO/Co- Founder of Inner City Helping Homeless Anthony Flynn who won Best Dub.

Those shortlisted for a Best of Dublin award can also be in with a chance to win a whopping €10,000 worth of advertising with 98FM for the Best Campaign. Get people voting for your business by posting on social media, displaying your nominee poster front of house, or canvassing door to door for votes – only one campaign can win! Nominate your Best of Dublin favourites at www.98FM.com/BestofDublin and stay tuned to 98FM for updates on this year’s Best of Dublin Awards.
