Communicorp Media was once again the most successful radio group at the 2019 IMRO Radio Awards in Kilkenny tonight, taking home a total of sixteen gold awards across Newstalk, Today FM, 98FM and SPIN 1038.
Newstalk picked up Full Service Station of the Year while 98FM won Music Station for the second year running.
Awards won by Communicorp Media span across all categories, including Music, News, Current Affairs, Sport, Entertainment and Speech. Big winners for Communicorp Media tonight included Ivan Yates, Dara Quilty, Ciara Kelly, Paul McLoone, Mario Rosenstock and Tom Dunne.
The IMRO Radio Awards celebrate the best in Irish radio broadcasting and recognise those who have made contributions over the year. The judging panel is made up of 105 industry veterans and new independent judges, who listened to 652 entries, over 37 different categories.
