98FM and SPIN1038 have been announced as finalists across three categories of the Digital Media Awards 2019, taking place in the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road on 15th February.
98FM is a finalist in the Best Brand and Best Social Media for an Event categories whilst SPIN1038 is a finalist in the Best Integrated Media Strategy category.
Following on from 98FM’s impressive performance at last year’s IMRO Radio Awards, 98FM is a finalist for Best Brand. This award recognises any brand that has shown innovation in their implementation of their digital strategies and how their application of digital strategies has helped achieve their overall business objectives.
After winning Gold for ‘Best On-Air Promotion’ at the IMROs, 98FM’s Best of Dublin Awards has also been nominated as a finalist in the Best Social Media for an Event category. The award celebrates the most creative, innovative and effective use of social media platforms as part of event strategies, highlighting the impact relevant brand communications and messaging on social can be in reaching event and overall business objectives.
Finally, SPIN1038’s ‘Fully Charged Billboard Singles’ campaign is nominated as a finalist in the Best Integrated Media Strategy category after bringing home two Silver Radio Awards in 2018 (for ‘Best in Innovation’ and ‘Best On-Air Giveaway’). This award recognises effective media strategies that utilise both traditional media and new media channels. All finalist projects demonstrate best practice, innovation and excellence in promoting, advertising, communicating and marketing a brand, campaign concept, product and/or service.
