This partnership comes off the back of Communicorp’s own intensive ‘Buy Local’ campaign created to promote the local main street, and encourages listeners to buy local and support their local businesses across the country, in every village and every town in Ireland.

Brid O’Connell, CEO of Guaranteed Irish, said:

‘With Brexit uncertainty, it’s more important than ever that businesses in Ireland take steps to protect themselves from the economic fall-out. Our new partnership with Communicorp will be invaluable in allowing our members to have their voices heard across Ireland and demonstrate their fantastic contribution to our economy and society. We are delighted Communicorp is getting behind Guaranteed Irish to support local jobs and local economies.’

Adrian Serle, Group CEO at Communicorp, said:

“We recognise the local villages and towns in Ireland are under real pressure, and for them to survive we all need to ‘Buy Local’. Without the support and trade of everyone, those communities will perish. We are therefore delighted to be working with such a well-established and well-recognised brand as Guaranteed Irish, to further support our campaign to encourage Irish consumers to spend their hard earned cash with Irish businesses who support Irish jobs in Irish communities.”

Guaranteed Irish has a network of over 600+ homegrown and indigenous business members nationwide, supporting over 71,390 jobs with an annual combined turnover of €11.2 billion to the Irish economy. The organisation considers three core criteria when assessing an applicant for membership – evidence of delivering quality Irish jobs, supporting local communities and a commitment to Irish provenance.
