Mairead Ronan to Return to National Radio on Monday

Friday, 13th September: Following the announcement of her lunchtime appointment on Today FM, Mairead Ronan returns to the national airwaves on Monday, 16th September (12-2PM) with an all new show.

Mairead, who started her career in Today FM in 2002 has gone on to gain recognition for shows such as Ireland’s Fittest Families, which she has hosted for 7 years and Dancing With The Stars 2019 where she was crowned winner alongside her dancing partner John Nolan.

In July, Today FM announced that she would be returning to the station as their lunchtime presenter.

For the first week of her new show, guests will include comedian, writer and actress Alison Spittle, ‘Extra Ordinary’ actor Barry Ward and Irish popstar and actress Samantha Mumba. She’ll also be giving Today FM listeners the chance to win €1,000 in cash with a fun new quiz!

Mairead’s new show promises to provide the latest spin on daily news and trends from around Ireland along with giving listeners a unique insight into celebrities from around the world. Listeners will get a lunchtime musical treat with Mairead’s 3-in-1, an uninterrupted mix of bangers old and new, delivered to your ears at 1PM every day.

Speaking about her much anticipated return Mairead Ronan said, “Despite the butterflies in my belly I honestly cannot wait to get on air on Monday. Today FM has been my second home for a huge part of my life so I’m thrilled to be part of their daily line up. The loyal Today FM listeners know what I’m about and as for the new ones… well I’m really looking forward to getting to know them over lunch.”
