Today FM to Host Virtual ‘Live’ Concerts This Summer

Category: News

‘Virtually Live’ series starts tomorrow from 9PM

Friday, 12th June 2020: For one hour each week, Today FM listeners will now be able to experience ‘Virtually Live’ concerts, featuring some of the biggest artists and acts from around the world, without having to leave their house.

With a huge amount of concerts and festivals cancelled in Ireland this summer due to restrictions on mass gatherings, many of us have had to kiss goodbye to our summer gig plans.

‘Virtually Live’ on Today FM (Saturdays 9-10PM) will bring listeners the greatest live hits from acts that were due to perform in  Ireland this year.

From the upbeat anthems of Dua Lipa, to the dulcet tones of Dermot Kennedy straight through to throwback hits from Green Day, every weekend for 13 weeks,  Today FM will dedicate an hour of its Saturday night schedule to broadcast live music from a list of specially chosen artists.

The ‘Virtually Live’ summer series kicks off this Saturday at 9pm with Harry Styles and will include live hits such as ‘Adore You’, ‘Watermelon Sugar’, ‘Sign Of The Times’, and many more.
